I am a Christian woman who desires to honor and glorify Christ with my life. It is my prayer that you will be blessed and perhaps inspired as I share some of my personal experiences through this blog as a:
- Missionary kid in Tokyo, Japan for ten years. It was a wonderful experience and I am still in contact with some of my high school classmates from around the world, as well as Japanese friends.
- Retired School teacher after 30 years. This was a wonderful career where I taught nearly every grade through the years, finishing with learning disabled high school students; so rewarding!
- Women’s Ministry leader for nearly all of my adult years as Coordinator, Teacher, Facilitator. I also enjoy Bible study and fellowship in three small groups now.
- Wife twice. First married for 27 years before sadly ending. Single for 15 years before finding love again at age 60. My second marriage also sadly ended after only 13 years, when my husband died unexpectedly.
- Mother and Grandmother. One son and daughter-in-law who have given me two adorable grandchildren, a boy (11) and a girl (7). They all are the joy of my life!
- Dog mommy to Marley, a four-year-old, 10-pound “Morkie” that I rescued from California. We are a good team – Marley Girl and Me!
- Mary Kay Consultant for almost 40 years. I don’t have the pink Cadillac, but the product keeps me looking young!
- New Author. I published my journey for one year as a new widow with the book, It’s All Good!, available on Amazon. My grandchildren now think I’m famous!
